Humectants
Glycerin Hydrovance Isopropyl Myristate Sodium Lactate
Glycerin - Glycerin is humectant that absorbs moisture from the air and when diluted with water, can soften dry skin.
Hydrovance - Hydrovance is a very effective moisturizing agent used in creams, lotions, bath and shower products, and hair care products. This unique ingredient provides the same moisturizing benefits as glycerin while offering a non-tacky, non-greasy aesthetic in skin care products.
Isopropyl Myristate - Considered to be an emollient, isopropyl myristate counteracts the oily feel of some lotions, and provides a soft and silky touch after quickly absorbing into the skin.
Sodium Lactate - Sodium lactate is a natural humectant, moisturizer and pH regulator. Studies have shown sodium lactate to be a better short term and long term moisturizer than glycerin, without the sticky feeling that glycerin can leave on the skin.
